We are Proud to be Fair Trade Certified
At HVA Ceylon, we believe in empowering consumers, employees, and the community. In everything we do, we’re committed to making sure that each purchase produces a positive social change in every stage of our supply chain from our customers’ ethical purchasing decisions, to our workers’ livelihood.
Our Fair Trade Certification ensures that our products are made in accordance with stringent social, environmental, and economic standards. Fair Trade USA mandates that companies abide by their policies and provide workers with opportunities for economic empowerment and mobility.
Fair Trade USA also prioritizes the well-being of the environment, and here at HVA Ceylon, we make sure our certified organic products are responsibly sourced. Our factories make use of green initiatives that ensure environmental sustainability.
No Monkey Business
We care about how are products are sourced. We hear about monkeys being used to harvest coconuts. We don’t support this practice and we certify that we do not use monkeys or any animals as labor for the collection of coconuts and any other purposes in our production facility.

We, HVA Ceylon LLC carefully develop our products specifically designed to benefit people. In this endeavor, we are committed to achieving the economic, ecological, and social responsibility objectives of Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development is a globally accepted approach to sustaining economic growth without harming our mother earth or exhausting its resources while improving the quality of life for its current and future generations.

We will continue to address our social responsibilities through our commitment to helping our employees, customers, and community neighbors meet their changing personal and professional needs. We have paid special attention to our farmers, whose life standard needs to improve and they are benefited by funds coming through programs like Fair Trade.
We also will monitor and address the impact our business has on our factory neighbors, local communities, and global society. To this end, we will continue to seek active, open, and honest dialogue with all stakeholders in appropriate forums. HVA Ceylon’s values and Leadership Principles are based on preserving and honoring the fundamental rights of every individual. We will continue to seek to promote and protect human rights as defined in internationally accepted humanitarian standards set forth by the United Nations.
