Johann Fernando, Founder and CEO of HVA Ceylon LLC, has over 25 years in the food industry, specializing in procurement, product development, R&D, and international brand marketing. Rooted in Sri Lanka’s rich culinary heritage, Johann’s journey began in his family’s tea company, HVA Foods PLC, where he became a second-generation tea taster and blender. With a deep expertise in organic and wellness product development, Johann has established a global footprint, leveraging his extensive hands-on experience and knowledge to innovate and lead in the food industry.
Under Johann’s leadership, HVA Ceylon LLC has grown from a modest venture into a market leader renowned for its high-quality food ingredients. His commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices has set a benchmark in the industry, ensuring that the company’s operations benefit local communities and the environment. Richard A. Lindkamp, Vice President of HVA Ceylon LLC, brings extensive experience in sales, customer service, operations, quality control, and logistics within the small business sector. Driven by a passion for quality food and superior service, Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic propel the company’s progress. He envisions HVA Ceylon LLC becoming a major player in the organic, healthy food industry. In his free time, Richard enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and daughter, including camping, backpacking, and dual sport riding.
